What is Discover?
Discover is Flavrdex's community recipe space — a growing collection of real recipes from real home cooks. Browse by category, search by keyword or ingredient, and copy any recipe straight into your own collection.
Discover is available on Individual and Family plans. Public recipes from paid-plan members feed the community — private recipes stay visible only to you.
Common Questions
What happens when I hit the 25-recipe limit on the free plan?
You'll be prompted to upgrade when you try to add your 26th recipe. Your existing 25 recipes are never affected — you can still view, edit, and share them. Upgrade to Individual or Family for unlimited storage.
Can I set my recipes to private on a free account?
Yes. All plans — including free — let you choose public or private visibility for each recipe. Private recipes are visible only to you and are never shared publicly. The Discover community (browsing other users' public recipes) is a paid-plan feature.
What happens to my extra recipes if I cancel a paid plan?
You keep full access until the end of your billing period. After that, if you have more than 25 recipes, the newest ones will be hidden (not deleted). They'll be restored automatically if you re-subscribe — no data is ever lost.
How does the Family plan work?
One subscription covers up to 4 members. Each member gets their own Flavrdex account with their own recipes. You'll also be able to mark recipes as "Family" — visible only to members of your plan — and browse the Discover community together.
Is it really ad-free?
Always. Every plan — including the free tier — is 100% ad-free. No ads, no pop-ups, no sponsored results. That's a promise.
